The challenge
7bridges' AI logistics platform is already used by enterprises including Maersk. Their next step, a multivariate simulation engine letting customers model emissions, routing, cost and risk together. Was technically ambitious enough to be commercially risky without public backing.
What we did
- Selected an Innovation Loan over a grant to match a mature, revenue-generating business with a large build.
- Articulated the simulation engine as a shift from reactive management to proactive strategy, with defensible technical novelty.
- Produced financial forecasts and a repayment case supporting a roadmap to £52M EBITDA by 2028.
The result
7bridges secured a £1M Innovation Loan to build the simulation engine, strengthening investor confidence ahead of a Series B and anchoring the development IP in-house.
